When processing personal data, we proceed in accordance with the legal regulations of the Slovak Republic and directly applicable regulations of the European Union, in particular Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on the processing of personal data, as amended, Act No. 480/2004 Coll. and in accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the General Regulation on the protection of personal data in relation to certain information society services and on amending and supplementing certain laws, as amended.

What data do we process as a data controller?

For what purpose and for how long do we manage personal data?

Data may be used for commercial and marketing purposes, i.e. to maintain a database of website users and to offer goods and services, as long as there is a legal basis for this processing and use of personal and other data. In other words: We collect your personal data to enable you to use our services and to keep you informed about news. Ordering products - we may process the personal data you provide to us when ordering goods or services without your explicit consent for the purposes of performing the contract, i.e. for the purposes of delivering the goods or services. We may also use this data to comply with our legal obligations (in particular retention obligations, archiving of tax records, etc.).

Filling in the form - we process the personal data you enter when filling in the form for the purpose of processing your request or enquiry. We store the data in the website database and in the mailbox(es) to which the message is delivered. The retention period is a maximum of 10 years. 

Account registration - with your consent, we store personal data to enable you to access, manage and maintain your account on this website. Maintaining an account helps us to facilitate your purchase or use of our services or to offer discounts in connection with our loyalty program. We retain data for a maximum of 10 years or until you withdraw your consent.

We may use identification and address data in the context of so-called legitimate interest to compile internal statistics. We use the anonymised results of these statistics to improve our services, including the analysis of user behaviour and marketing.

We process personal data collected through cookies on the basis of your consent (which you can give by confirming it in the web interface after you have been informed about the use of cookies and have had the opportunity to read this policy). We are also entitled to process the personal data collected via cookies if you continue to use the web interface after you have been informed about the processing of this personal data. We use the personal data collected through cookies for the purposes of supporting users, improving our services, including analysing user behaviour and marketing.

All personal data provided for the above purposes is provided entirely voluntarily and consent is given by actively interacting with (ticking) the consent to processing box or on the basis of legitimate interest. The processing of personal data is carried out by the controller within the meaning of the PDPA, but personal data may also be processed for the controller by other entities (as processors or controllers):

We do not provide personal data to any other person. The personal and other data collected is fully secured against misuse. Personal data is processed in electronic form in an automated manner or in paper form in a non-automated manner. Your personal data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union.

What rights do I have in relation to data protection?

  • You can request information from us about which of your personal data we process.
  • You can ask us to explain the processing of your personal data.
  • Request access to this data and to update or correct it.
  • Request deletion of this personal data.

  • The right to be informed of a data breach in certain cases.

 

You may at any time lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in relation to the processing of your personal data or the controller's failure to comply with its obligations under the GDPR.
